In addition to creating an identity system for Signac, we also developed a system of iconography to use in both internal and client-facing materials. Throughout the branding process, the clients told us they didn’t want to feel like a traditional financial services company, but wanted to maintain their credibility. We achieved this by using abstract, geometric forms to establish order, with pops of bright colors giving them an extra punch.
Using examples of Swiss design as well as color inspiration from the painter Paul Signac, we came up with 38 symbols to represent financial terms, ranging from the concrete to the fairly abstract. You can read more about the process here.
